Matthew - 8-10

I love how great the faith of the centurion had in Jesus! I hope when I get to Heaven Jesus will say what he said in Matthew - 8:10 about me.MAtthew - 9:12-13 is a good reminder/verse! It kinda reminds you, if you want to be more like Jesus, you have to be a witness to sinners. I should really practice this more. When Jesus said "Your faith has healed you." It makes me wonder how much more of a meaning that could be. Like if we had faith like the woman's what would happen?
Matthew 10:19-20 - "But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking threw you." Was an amazing verse! I mean, think about it. God will be talking threw you! I would love it if God spoke threw me. God speaking threw you! This just amazes me! It would be SO cool to have God speak threw me, I'd be so honored. It just, Wow!
"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight, what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both body and soul in hell." - Matthew 10:27-28 I love this verse. It's a good reminder.
Matthew - 10:34-40 is another verse that makes you think, what do I really love more... its says:
"Do not suppose I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn 'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law--- a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.' Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will loose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake, will find it. He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives the one who sent me."

Matthew 1-7

Amazing! God answered so many of my questions in those chapters! I would highly recomend chapters 5-7!!! They were really good chapters. I really liked Matthew 6:34 - Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. and Matthew 7:13-14 - Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only few find it. This was very good, indeed. If you want to know about Jesus's family tree, read Matthew 1. Now I shall say good night.
